The public housing for the Housing Authority of the Township of North Bergen is funded by the following sources:

	Annual HUD Federal Operating Subsidy
	Capital Fund Grants
	Public Housing Drug Elimination Grant Funds
	Other Operating Income (such as interest)

Funding for the Section 8 Program is all from Federal government annual contributions, which funds housing assistance payments and the Housing Authority's administrative costs for running the program.
