The role of the Housing Authority under its Public Housing Program is the rental, management, and maintenance of decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing to low-income families, senior citizens, and disabled individuals.

The Housing Authority of the Township of North Bergen operates 985 low-income units spread throughout the following four developments:

	Meadowview Village (low-income housing)
	Lawler Towers (senior/disabled)
	Terrace Apartments (senior/disabled)
	Cullum Tower (senior/disabled)
